Mindfulness is a way of being in the present moment, a way of being aware of our thoughts and feelings with acceptance and kindness.


Mindfulness helps us to recognise our negative patterns of thinking, and to realise that we can let them go.


Mindfulness gives us a way of making friends with ourselves.


Research has shown that practicing mindfulness has huge benefits for both our mental and physical health.

Here's some information about our mindfulness course..


We are currently running the courses online. Each course has 6 sessions that are one-and-a-half hours long. Some courses will run on Thursday mornings between 10.00 and 11.30, some courses will run on Thursday evenings.


  • We will learn some ‘mindful moments’ techniques, which are little things we can do in everyday life to help us let go of stress.
  • We will try a range of short meditations to develop mindfulness – these are exercises for the mind, where we learn to focus our attention on specific things such as our breathing, or our whole body or on developing kindness.
  • We also cover information to help us understand how our minds work, so we can have more control and choice about what we do.
